Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Radi8 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Radi8. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.

3. Account Registration

To use Radi8, you must:

• Provide a valid phone number for verification
• Create a display name and username
• Provide accurate birth year information

Important: Your display name and username cannot be changed after account creation. Choose them carefully.

4. Circles and Membership

Radi8 is organized around "circles" - groups of users who participate in polls together.

• Free users may join up to 3 circles
• Glow Mode subscribers have unlimited circle access
• Circle creators can remove members who violate community standards
• You must be invited or have a join code to enter a circle

5. User Conduct

Radi8 is designed to spread positivity. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App to bully, harass, or intimidate others
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Share join codes publicly to invite strangers into circles
• Attempt to manipulate poll results or game the system
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the App
• Create circles with inappropriate or offensive names

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund of any purchases.

6. Voting and Anonymity

When you vote in polls, your identity is kept anonymous from the recipient by default. However:

• Recipients may unlock hints about who voted for them
• Hints may reveal partial information (e.g., first letter of name)
• Premium features may provide additional hints
• We may disclose voter identity to law enforcement if required by law

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

Radi8 offers "Glow Mode" premium subscriptions and in-app purchases:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
• Manage subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play
• Consumable purchases (hint unlocks) are non-refundable once used

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice.

8. Rays and Virtual Currency

"Rays" are virtual points earned when others vote for you in polls.

• Rays have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash
• Rays cannot be transferred between users
• We reserve the right to adjust ray balances to maintain fairness
• Rays may be forfeited upon account termination

9. Advertising

Free users will see advertisements served by Google AdMob. Glow Mode subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience. Ad content is determined by our advertising partners and we are not responsible for third-party ad content.

10. Intellectual Property

The Radi8 name, logo, and all associated branding are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without written permission. Content you create (e.g., circle names) remains yours, but you grant us a license to use it within the App.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in harmful or abusive behavior
• Are reported by multiple users

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
